This tale tells of a courageous group of children finding their place in a world at war in 1916. Frustrated by their inability to join the soldiers in battle, the children decide to do whatever it takes to help in the war effort. Heartwarming, funny, emotional, and exciting, this original new musical with a sweeping score celebrates the steadfast British spirit that shone through during WW1. Performances run March 23 – 25 at 7 pm with a sensory-friendly matinee on Saturday, March 25 at 2pm.

The Battle of Boat is a cinematic musical from British duo Donnelly and Maltby with a both an epic score and an enduring story of friendship and devotion. With no adult characters, the story is told exclusively through the eyes and words of the children as they come to grips with how their world has been upset and how they each have to find their role in this new world.

In addition to three general public performances, Hamilton High School is proud to offer a special sensory-friendly matinee on Saturday, March 25. This performance is specially designed for individuals with
sensory, social, and learning disabilities, and their families. Special accommodations for this production will include lower sound levels, designated quiet spaces and activity areas, and vocal responses are
encouraged. Don’t miss The Battle of Boat, a timeless story of courage and hope.
