The Fourth Annual Hamilton Victory Day was held on Saturday, September 28 for students with varying abilities. Each student had their moment to lineup with the football team and run through the defense on their way to the endzone for a Hawkeye touchdown! The day was made special thanks to the Hamilton football, cheerleading, and vocal music programs as well as event organizer Mackenzie Brewer. Victory Day was especially memorable for Hamilton High School seniors Anthony Gates and Ben Popma, who soaked in their big moment.
"I ran and I scored my touchdown, like usual but this time I did my Elvis Presley dance,” Gates giggled. “This really means a lot to me, it’s my last time doing things in high school.”
